"driving reputation into the ground" don't be so dramatic, nobody is even complaining about the server but you. Its not broken or buggy or hurting your precious in any way.

My motivation for PW is different than most people, not focused on popularity with the average player, but testing and polishing the game features, with players being mainly just test subjects - I enjoy programming more as a sort of complex machine to be assembled and adjusted, less for the end result. Incompatible server mods have become a rather annoying problem in the last year or so, with people reporting strange bugs that probably do not exist with the official version, and suggestions being made based on poorly thought out tweaks that break other fundamental concepts of the design; development can be a lot of time consuming work, and that sort of thing makes it worse.

In case Spectrum was talking to me about contacting him: I don't have or use Steam, by choice.

In case anyone is confused, from accusations made: I have absolutely no problem with people making changes to suit a different play style or whatever they want, only with people breaking the usage conditions by making incompatible server side changes, as stated.
