Since I never posted in here, I need to comment on the tournament format, since I always comment on tournament formats. So for me, creator of the original team tournament which never took off rabblerabble, I think the format is kind of eh. Like, you /can/ call it a team tournament, I guess. Since there's multiple people involved. But it's not a team effort. It's just the sum of three individual duels. The winning "team" just happens to have the two duelists who won. Which works, I guess. But it could be better. Pokemon-style like M suggested might've been better, though it could lead to massive stomps -- or glorious comebacks. The whole varying weapons might be fun, who knows.

But imma say that TMTAKAPCDDT's format is superior for straight up 3v3 duels.
Excerpts from the thread said:
By bro'ing up, we reduce the individual's weight with regard to the duel/match's outcome. Duels become a dynamic team effort, outcomes are no longer set in stone. Dueling becomes fun again.
Fair-er matches, yet still room for god-tier/no-lifer heroics. Everyone wins!
etc.etc. also my picture from the original thread disappeared what the hell

Oh, and so converting that ruleset to 3v3s would make it exactly team fencing format, which you can look up/at if you want.
