Started a new playthrough and kind of fell into a vicious cycle.
Army I was traveling with was defeated and I was taken prisoner. My captor took me deep into enemy territory before I made my daring escape... Only to be captured again by another lord.
Taken deeper into enemy territory, this time ransom paid and I get let out only to take 2 steps and be stopped by another lord that was coming to that particular castle. Paid him off to let me be on my way only to be caught again trying to sneak out of enemy territory... You see where this is going yes?
When enemy lords are ransomed or escape they instantly poof back to friendly territory, usually to a place they own. Why are we not afforded the same right? Instead we are tossed out to the wilderness alone on a horse with no food and very little health.
