Error too many variation on mesh -51.000000

I have looked on here and on google i tryed the ones that i think it is but nothing will fix it
all the info i get from this is Error it some thing to do in Items? all i have been working in the module system is module_items.py and module_troops.py any clue on how to fix it or am i haveing to start again?

The Mount & Blade engine can't support ultra detailed meshes.

ok but all i have been useing is the OPS Firearms ? and retexter ones i dont think thay are ultra detailed lol i will look at them again

Hmm. I had a similar problem, only thing was that I had Error too many varitaon of mesh 0. Try adding the stuff to somewhere in the middle, rather than in the bottom of the module file, if you had put them in the bottom?

yes i had them at the bottom just did what you siad still getting it i think it will be easyer if i start again but make a backup befor i build it

Hmm. What did you actually add? Your own models or osp package?
Of course, you could try by removing one item at the time, and see if the error disappears.

will try that and i added OPS ones with a lot of recolors of them meaning diffent wood and metal on them

Hmm. Maybe the flags for some of the models are messed up in the brf file. But try to delete one item at the time. Then it's easier to know that is the problem with one of the items or all of them.

I've had the problem too but solved it.

It was due to a entry for the mesh-name in item_kinds that I accidently deleted. There, where the name of the mesh should have been was nothing, the next in text was a "zero" so the game told me "Error too many variation on mesh 0" obviously because it took the 0 for the mesh name and didn't find anything of that name. Anyway, when i pasted it back in place, everyting worked fine again.
