Error Ocean Blending

When I work on a new map in Thorgrim's and I add oceans, the tiles blend really grossly, instead of dissipating with sand after creating a shore or such it uses grass which looks terrible, like my entire place is a toxic waste dump. Going to do a little research to see if its just because I made a new map or what, but its terrible looking.

Actually to note, this happens when you use the top most texture on the list against land, apparently that's not the real ocean texture that's the deep water texture.

deep water material is there to blend tidal waves. Shore water uses other ocean material
