Exactly. That's what not to post in this thread. This is what should be posted.

Solos that are impressive because of the emotions the performer gives out.

That's pretty rad cover actually, but I the inbred southern brat still does much better a job.

That's one of the awesomest things I've ever seen/heard, and I've already seen/heard it several times before.

[me=Pharaoh Llandy]puts on some Hayseed Dixie and chills with what little is left of the Glenfiddich.[/me]

As for Epic Guitar Solos, I can't add anything in particular right now, but I'll have a peer through my playlists later and see if anything is worthy.

Arch, all 4 of your contributions rock but then Olga is a guitar god and I love the Subs (my band has supported them a few times and when GBH played down here in the 90's, Charlie Harper came with them and he slept under my stairs LOL. Lefty Right from Splodge was also there for some reason  :???: )
and at an after party in Morecambe I was lucky enough to see the Subs with Lars Fredericksen on guitar. absolutely amazing

but to get back on topic, this has some of the best guitar solos ever (and if what I once read is true, all of them are improvised)

Haha, yes, I've been to Morecambe many times. It's not as cool these days, much quieter, almost Coventry-esque in its eerieness.

Although your website seems to indicate that the Winter Gardens in Blackpool are the new venue of choice.... craziness I say. Blackpool is almost as gay as Brighton. Hardly the place of all things rock and punk!

And here's the original version by John Butler Trio, who is amazing.

Just in that performance, you can see how much he loves playing.

Tornado of Souls by Megadeth

Normally I do not care too much for solos to an extent and most are up to the listener to decide if it is good or not.

Yeah, although HitS started in Blackpool. Not the same these days though, haven't been since they shifted it back to Blackpool. Morcambe was absolutely hilarious.
