Entering the town?

I'm new to the game and after restoring my saved game, my character is in Zendar. I'm on the overhead map. How do I return to my character in town?

Click the town! Who would've guessed that

I tried that. Maybe the mouse pointer wasn't in the right spot. I had it hovering over my character's name.
