Entering cd-key

I've updated Warband to the latest version, bought, downloaded and installed Napoleonic Wars, and I'm at a loss as to how to enter the cd key for the latter. I bought Warband on Greenmangaming.com if that matters, and the only non-Steam install of Napoleonic Wars that I can find on the faq is a mention of how to install it using Steam. Is that my only choice?

Where did you bought the Napoleonic Wars DLC?

I bought it here, directly from Taleworlds.

You should be getting a e-mail from the Taleworlds store with your CD key.

You can enter it when you try to join a server.

I did indeed get the email, I have the cd key. I tried entering a server but it didn't give me the option to enter a key... just a moment, I will try it again.

If you dont find a way to enter it, please try:
    Click Start > Run
    Enter regedit
    A new window will open, browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > MountAndBladeWarbandKeys
    Search the entry, serial_key_nw, make sure that the value is the same as your CD key. Also make sure that the key is separated correctly. Double click the entry and modify it until it is correct. Watch out for invisible spaces in the CD key.
    If you are done with that, close the Registry Window and start the game, connect to the server and have fun playing!
