I'm sorry to say that you can't get gesias sounds work with my mod :sad: Changing sounds is not easy as it seem, because it's coded on module system and is different from one mod to another. If you want to change sounds manually you can replace WFaS Enhanced sounds with gesia sounds keeping WFaS enhanced original name.
 
Cannot find the Polish claimant. He was never an option in the traveler dialogue when you ask their location, not for a long time. I am following the Cossack storyline, and need him for current mission. The Poles have no territory, but still exist. I checked a very early save and he was in Krakow (claimants in WFAS seem to be the cities of the kingdoms they claim, which is odd, except for Stephan Razin). Did the delicate flower quit the realm when Krakow was taken?
 
I know claimants vanishing is an old bug, but is the storyline at an end? Could I resurrect the Polish claimant with a cheat or file edit?
 
First off, this Mod seems awesome - secondly when I download the link it is titled "Beta 170" however when I go to instal it I see it says 1.65 Beta on the installer.

Also, I'm not sure what to do with the patch fix.

Thanks for helping my noob questions lol, the mood looks awesome and good work on it (although reading some of the comments said you disabled the cheating  :cry: this game take forever without infinite moneys lol)
 
Trade using assess prices and gunpowder (buy cheap in a city and sell expensive in a castle). Then once you have over 100 troops take Smolensk with something like four village. You will be rich in no time.
 
I'm having some trouble. I was fighting for Poland against the Swedish King.  I think the Swedish king had clones of my troops fighting for him, but they wouldn't shoot.  Also my game is freezing when I have Tartar loot on my items  screen.

Cheat disabling was a joke  :twisted: Don't worry about installer version. Is 1.70.

What? Please, screenshots. Did you installed a clean installation and started a new game?

 
OK, so I'm sure its something I'm doing wrong, however, I went and installed the 1.65 (that was the title on my installer, however the title on the icon was "WFas_Enhanced_beta_170-3554-170")

So as I was installing it a lot of things came up reading something like..

Click retry to remove the read-only attribute, Ignore to skip the file, or Abort to cancel installation.
Abort/Retry/Ignore

At first I just hit Retry a bunch of times, I CAN log into the game, however a lot of the features don't seem to be there (I noticed a difference in some sounds I think). For example - I started off with the same items, could not give a fief to a companion (I took 2 castles from Sweden, I had the Spanish guy+priest), I could not name my empire, and a few other things, but those where the main ones.

Now I'm sure its something on my end which messed it up (obviously since there are only positive reviews on here) but if you have any ideas on what could be wrong I'd much appreciate it.

Lastly, I still don't know what to do with the patch fix, it only comes up as a Text Document with a bunch on numbers.

1. Delete \WFaS Enhanced\ folder from your WFaS directory.
2. Install it. (Clean install mean do not overwriting an existing installation!)
3. Extract patch on \WFaS Enhanced\ folder after installing overwriting.

It's easy  :wink: If you do it following my instructions, I give you my:

Sorry for not getting it.. I've read every page of this thread and still must be doing something wrong.

Here's what I did so far.

1) Uninstalled the game, then reinstalled it.
2) Went to C:\Program Files\Mount&Blade With Fire and Sword\Modules - I found the WFaS Enhanced folder, I deleted it.
3) I installed the WFas_Enhanced_beta_170-3554-170. (this time it installed without me having to click "retry" or anything)
4) I copied the "scripts" Text Document I got from "WFaS Enhanced 170 patch fix" and replaced it with the existing "scripts" inside the WFaS Enhanced folder.
5) Play the game.

I could tell the sound differences with the guns/metal sounds when I hit things. However, there is not a Castellan in my first fief,  there is no way for me to name my kingdom (It still says (Rebels)), there are no extra options at the camp menu.

This is the first time I've ever tried to mod a game, again sorry for the noob questions but I must be missing something.

 
You must have a wrong version. It only works with version 1.143.
Are you overwriting native "Ogniem i Mieczem" folder?

A silly question... are you selecting "WFaS Enhanced" when you launch With fire and sword executable?  :grin:

I do have version 1.143 - lol I bought the game for this mod (only 15bucks so it was no big deal, before I was using a pirated version)

No I am not overwriting the "Ogniem i Mieczem" folder.

I'm not sure what your asking, I think your talking about the game icon? - if so I'm using the one that was posted to my desktop when I installed the game.

Oh god.. I'm retarded lol, it was on "native" - I thought at first it *may* had been in the configure, when I looked I noticed the scroll down menu and sure enough there was a option that read "WFaS Enhance"

If the work at the new version is done, I'll also add a RAR-Archive version of this module. I'm no friend of these Setup.exe versions.
Then both will be available, RAR and EXE.

When the new module will be released, there will be also a new (my) download server available.

-The Neo Native map integration is finished - I changed a few things at the new map. Some of the rivers hard edges has been smoothed. The Novgorod river now will look much better. Riga is as its correct position in the north of the river. Also I've removed some terrain "bugs".

-The german translation is almost fnished.
-The english story changes are finished.
 
Awesome work you two! Looking forward to seeing the additions. The Prussians look great. Suggest changing the name of the "Landsknecht" to DoppelSoeldner" since this is the prussian swordsman. A really cool addition would be that you can only create certain cultural soldiers in certain cities. Like the Prussian should only be created in Prussian towns and fortresses. Thanks.

Morgh, what map editor are you using. I would like to experiment with it and see if it would be possible to add a few cities like Danzig, Thorn, Mitau in Courland, Pozen, and Sandomirez. Also I know Brytonwalda has monestaries. I think it would be interesting to add monestaries as siegable fortresses. Like the monestary of Czestochowa where Sweden was turned back.

Anyway, I would appreciate knowing what map editor you are using.

I use Thorgrims Map Editor with an old Vanilla Mount & Blade. Then I use a small self-coded tool which inserts Party names and coordinates from Warband to Vanilla and back. That was the easiest way without any text editing.

You can't add a party (monastery or else) which also has some functionality without the module system from Taleworlds.

I figured out something, they weren't clones of my mercenary European marksmen.  They were lifeguards.  I didn't know about the changes to the Swedish Lifeguards.  They have shot at me many times since.  I have been fighting in the north for a long time and haven't had another crash.  I think something new down south makes the game freeze on the looting inventory screen. I can't take a screen shot because it's frozen.    Loving the game, and looking forward to the next patch.  I would love it if there was another uniform option for Scottish musketeers.  They look a little to darling in their all plaid matching pants suit. Perhaps a black doublet to go with those stylish plaid pants.
