Hey all

I love this mod but im a little confused. i read about 15 pages and didnt see my problem anywhere and i got lazy :sad: so here it is. I Have a legal copy i got from steam. i downloaded the mod installed it. it runs properly no bugs or anything. however. when i took my first castle by myself alone with out any help from any lord or faction backing me, i had the option to pick what faction my kingdom was going to be but i did not get the option to make my companions lords. i dont see the castellan or where its placed. do i need to be part of a faction then renounce myself from them? i just farmed bandits for like 2 weeks and bought the Calvary females for my army. did i install it wrong ? where is the castellan?
 
So awesome. I cant find the prussian troops, or are they coming out in the future.
Is it possible for you to put the features of the freelancer mod into this mod?

You need to declare independence and set your National culture to Prussian.
 
hey all! is this mod where u can rule ur own kingdom and make ur companions "lords" who serve u? do u need to get honor or renown or somting before u can make ur own kingdom like in warband?
 
Yes, at the moment you can only making companions into vassals. You just need an army of some size. Renown helps, but at the start garrisons are tiny, and if you have a rich imported or file edited character, you can take a town with less than 150 men.

Few things that I ve noticed
1 My companions who I made lords when taken captive by random rebels  are never released so Im loosing them for good while until I track down these bandits which is rather difficult or other lords  do it
2 When I talk to my lords former companions I see they leveled up but  I cant upgrade them . Is it mean that's not happening automatically and they will stay at lvl  they had when I made them lords?
3 How  can I improve relations with other nations ? ARE there any new options for that?
4 When i give village as a fief to my companions its coming back to me after some time ,  cities and castles working  fine  . Problem is that castles dont give too much money so I wanted to grant my lords extra income but it inst working

Ive been modifying this post few times coz new things appears while playing but thats it for now , what troubles me most
 
Downloaded the mod + the patch, and extracted to my mod folder.  When I run the game it starts, but then crashes before even getting to the loading screen and an error screen opens up that says "Unable to open file: Modules\WFaS Enhanced\Resource\env_materials.brf"
I have a legal version from Steam.
This may have been answered already, but this thread is 50 pages long so...

Recently I started my own kingdom, too. I was a Swedish lord and marshall after a month or two, eventually I was holding 4 castles. Sweden was at war with the Cossacks and after serious preparations on streightening the numbers of the garrisons in my castles I declared independence. Therefore I was at war with Sweden and the Cossacks. I managed, however, to reach a peace agreement with the Cossacks. It should be noted that declaring war and peace is sometimes random. While playing the Russians declared war on me. I loaded my latest save and at the same time the Russians should have declared war in the previous game now the Cremeans did so. I loaded again and nobody declared war on me.
On the other hand, it depends on the state's situation. In the case with the peace agreement with the Cossacks, the latter had few cities fighting with almost everyone. In the vanilla I went through the Russian storyline, I became Tzar and eventually only Muscovite Tsardom, Sweden and Cremeans were the only states. We were at peace with each other. When I as the strongest state declared war Cremeans ( the weakest one ) Sweden immediately declared war on me.
You just have to wait for the right moment to make your own kingdom - weak enemy state and disorganised own state ( in this case Sweden) Conquering a city taken by deserters is also a good solution - you will not make any enemies as a result of the founding of your new kingdom. Other kingdoms are highly likely to declare war on you recently after establishing your state as you seem weak having just 1 fortress/town.
A question to the mod developer: Are ther any plans to extend the diplomacy functions in the game. For example : alliances, trade agreements, pacts of non-agression, ect.

Can deserters take a town?
 
I still cannot find where to make my companions lords.  Does it have to be a castle?  I only have two towns.  Please advise.

Yes, I agree with you! I rebalanced the guns myself so the fastest reloading musket takes 12 seconds to reload ( and even this is too fast) but I saved the ratio between the reloading of the firearms ( so the % firearm X is faster reloading than firearm Y is saved ) I also made the grenades to be unplenishable just like bullets. OP updated today, but just saying what's upcoming. Prussians are got by creating a kingdom and selecting them as a culture.
