Well I've had a speculation, and it kind of seems to stick.
So in 1.80 war/peace ratio is pretty good so far overall in my game.
However I've been a merc in the faction forever.
So we are at peace but I suspected that there could be war with Battania shortly.
Since it was peace I went and approached the king - became vassal.
Then I decided to move towards the nearest town of ours to dump some troops, since he gave me some and I didnt want them.
Soon as I unpause to get the game moveing.
Boom war declaration by Battania as suspected, fine.
Move further.. boom Western Empire.. m'kay not expected.
Boom.. Aserai, which at this time had Garantor castle from the Western Empire, and thus all of Battania and Western Empire to cross + some NE towns/villages to touch our borders..
Basically I have felt that its tied to you becomeing a vassal that makes the other nations "overly hostile".
And in this case tbh I had made several save games prior, I load them up, dont become vassal, we are at war with Battania and only Battania for some time, then We declare war on Battania - we get peace.
And are at peace for quite some time again, until Khuzait declares war.
Back to the save prior to becomeing a vassal.
Join up as Vassal - Battania - WE and Vlandia now declare war..
Reload to merc - Battania only at war.
Battania wants peace when Vlandia attack them.
I'd love to know if anyone else can experiment on similar behaviour or if this is just a false positive on my end.
Or for that matter if its actually something in the code that actually makes this the way the devs want it - or if I'm bugged.
