I just read Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, now it's one of my favorites, has any one else here read it? What did you think of the ending?

Nice book there, but it's been many years since I read it. Kinda messed up using a kid that way; in other words, cool book.

I prefer Geralds game, by Mr. King. Nothing like reading about a wife killing her husband with a swift kick in the balls, while his penis shot out black liquid... and umm.. in anycase. THUMBS UP!

Pavlov, isn't that the one where most of the book she's cuffed to the bed and desperately trying to get free? If so, definitely amazing imagery in that one. Slicing her wrists on the broken glass to lubricate them and pull free, so forth.... very vividly written. I have to admit, it actually gave me a sick feeling in my stomach reading it at one point, and I honestly can't remember any other book which has managed that. :!:

Enders Game is brilliant, and I can't wait for a movie and/or game franchises to start pumping out. FYI Enders Shadow pwnz0rz Enders Game. (same story from Bein's (is that how you spell it?) perspective)

No Enders Game is THE best book i have read and i dont want a company to make a love story or a bad action of it.

Enders Game is a great book and i love it. That he kills his first person when he is 6 years old when he is bullied in schol. A brilliant kid with problems.

I don't honestly remember very much of the book, but I remember enjoying it very much 10 or 12 years ago when it first came out. I also remember reading the sequel. It is not nearly as interesting as Ender's game. Ender becomes some sort of political activist for the bugs. Bah.

I didn't really get the ending, so the buggers could read Enders thoughts and built that place from the game for him? And why does he save the last queen? Are the buggers really good after all?

They're alien, in the absolute sense, which was one of the points being made. So, essentially they weren't good or bad at all.
They could access his mind in a primitive way, through the game as far as I remember and they used it to find out what he was really like or something, it's years since I read it.
If you liked the action part of Ender, read Beans story, if you liked the lorality/ethical part of Ender, read the rest of the Ender saga, Xenocide etc etc.

The rest of the saga was a bit...shall we say, high brow for me. Maybe I'll revisit it later, but my last attempt bored me to tears
