Enabling Unused Equipment

I'm interested in enabling all the Strange gear as well as The Black Armour and I'm wondering what would be the easiest way to do it. I've also heard that there is other unused equipment in the games files - is there a list of this somewhere? If not is there a way to tell from the game files if an item is findable in the game world?
