My only problem with the server is the horrible lack of animals. I keep dying because of lack of food

And cooldowns on teleports. Also local/global chat with the ! in front of sentences.

We had awful trouble with it on the last TW server, but the plugin didn't stop people doing it, but it at least didn't save any of their stuff.

I had trouble too. But you keep dying? I found that my health stops decreasing at around 4 hearts of health when I have no food. Just don't die before you can get a farm set up.

Yeah the animals do seem scarce, okay MDP will supply seeds and rations of bread to anyone who asks for it

Eh, my food levels drop ridiculously fast and after that I'm just two shots to some random skeleton

Uhh, being in a faction either gets me killed or forces me to sit in a tiny hole and hope the bad guys (who just happen to be online 24/7) go away.

Not being in a faction either gets you killed from starvation, or forces you to sit in a tiny hole and hope the mobs go away.

We've already had one obvious x-ray user, so again no faction doesn't protect you from that.

THE NEW SERVER A SUCCESS: LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE DOWNFALL OF MOUNTAIN BLADE
While us from the Mountain Blade Report are eager to restart our editorials and stories, we feel that our own Chancellor, Tiberius Decimus Maximus, says it best, and thus we start with his first speech on Eldaria:

"A new world has at last emerged, following the listless and desolate months after the fall of Mountain Blade into inactivity, sponsored by our new benefactors, including one of Taleworld's very own, our boy Beny! In the days since I joined the server, one of the first in to settle its wide lands, I have seen dozens flood into the server, a sight not seen for over a year, in the days of Map 3 and 4. It has brought a happy smile to my wearied face, and hope to my heart. For what we have learned since the era of Mountain Blade, is that newcomers are not interlopers, but the very lifeblood of the server! Yes, they bring with them conflict. Yes, their culture and civility do not hold a light to our proud Taleworldian heritage. But the server cannot live without them.

Where Mountain Blade had dissolved due to well meaning, but excessive regulations, Eldaria, our new home, is wild and free! If we must sacrifice safety for the wellbeing of the server, I say so be it! Taleworlds will always be ready to shoulder the burden of war, and carry our tattered, treasured banner to victory! A new era has dawned for us, brothers and sisters of the Mountain Blade exodus! This land is ours, for now and forever, and we shall fight to the last to hold it."

Despite the new owners of the server, which is largely owned by non-Taleworlds personnel, the Chancellor has expressed a definite feeling of belonging and national ownership of the new land of Eldaria, for all Taleworlds countries. No doubt the implied will to fight stemmed from the near eradication of the Taleworlds presence by InFaction in the year past, in Map 4. However, despite this, the Chancellor has denied any intentions to reform the PSA, or the failed Super-state of Thule. He instead stated that it is "now the time for independent settling and development: statehood may come, in time, but it is far too early to plan for it now."

FAMINE HAUNTS NEWCOMERS TO THE SERVER: CANTHA OFFERS AID
Dozens of the new immigrants to Eldaria have unfortunately fallen prey to hunger, as this season has resulted in an extraordinarily low cattle, pork, and poultry population. This leaves many weakened and easy prey to mobs, encounters that often prove fatal. Death stalks the land, and only those who have become well established following the launch of the server are beginning to recover. The lack of food has hit the newcomer population especially hard, causing starvation, death from hunger or mobs, or even from other players, forced into banditry, attempting to steal whatever they can to survive.

However, in response to this crisis, the Monastery of Cantha, perched atop Pagoda Point in the West Eldaria Mountain Range, has offered food in exchange for non-vital luxury materials. These include Lapis Lazuli, Gold, and Moss-stone, as well as Nether Glowstone. Their fields are capable of producing bread for the hungry en masse, as long as the applicant can supply these materials to fund their future projects, which Chancellor Tiberius, Cantha's leader, promises to reveal shortly. He is, however, accepting all interested Taleworlds members to build up manpower, promising a large scale construction project.

Due to the new map, the Chancellor has allowed publication of a picture of the Monastery of Cantha so those in need can identify it in times of need.
