El Dorado at The British Museum.

So the British Museum is about to open a new exhibition on El Dorado, there are many myths as to where this legendary place is actually situated, but one of the most accepted stories is that it was near Bogota, in a lake where the local Chieftains were initiated by being covered in gold dust, put in a raft with some gold and gems and then jumping into the lake for a swim.

If there are any Forumnites around London from October to March of next year I recommend going, I have been to the Colombian exhibition, which was great and I bet the British Museum Will try its best to out do us new world yokels, If anyone is thinking of going PM me!

I've been to the Japanese exhibition and enjoyed it quite yes. Too bad I probably won't be going to London anytime soon though.
