egg slicer bug

every now and again the pictures of the characters in the inventory and party screens, sometimes in prisoner management also, look like they were run through an egg slicer for those of you who don't know what i'm talking about it looks like the character was cut into horizontal slices, and then staggered back and forth.  its not really a fatal bug, but it can be annoying if it happens over and over, as for an unrelated bug the winged helms don't appear on my characters or hero's, this isn't a fatal flaw either, since it appears durring battle.  but if you know of any way to fix either of these problems i would much appreciate it.

Updated your video card driver recently? Do you have the latest Direct X? You might also post up your computer specs so someone inclined in the ways of graphical glitches can point you in the right direction.

I'm not quite sure how to upgrade my video driver, i have direct x 9,  1.5 GB of ram, pentium 4 CPU , and as for graphics i have an  ASRock integrated intel Extreme graphics 2 with a max shared memory of 96MB
