Well I couldnt find any place else, so here it goes.

I would really like a way to copy things between modules. I have a mod I was working on back before the editor was upgraded which is unusable due to the delete bug. I would really like a way to copy a troop from 1 mod and paste it into a new one (ditto with items and other stuff as well).

Not if I have a LOT of data that needs to be copied over. It's not simply a matter of difficulty, it's a matter of time.

have you tried just making a copy of troop.txt and moving it inot your module file?

I did that and it worked.

Well I couldn't in this instance, as it was corrupted by the delete bug in the older version. But barring that, simply copying the troop file would replace the current troop file.. It wouldnt allow one to pick and choose and mix and match, so to speak.

Othello, this could be added to the editor, however it would be a single item at a time. I'm not sure if it would help you that much over just copying lines from the .txt files.
