Edit peace and alliances for AI kingdoms

Hello

Is there a way to edit the game files so two AI kingdoms make peace or form alliances? I'm always trying to aim for some historical accuracy when playing VC and often ruins it for me when the AI kingdoms declare wars on each other when they shouldn't or when major kingdoms like Wessex and Mercia loses everything to welsh and Irish kingdoms.

Also, is it possible to open a saved game as an AI lord, play a bit as him and then again load the game as my own character?

you can do whatever you want, the limit is in the modder skill really (how long you want to invest on learning stuff)
