Hey guys, loving the singleplayer so far but it does have its fair share of issues. I have some suggestions and ideas to help solve some of the current issues in the economy aspect of gameplay!
Once you get some workshops and caravans out its practically impossible to not be rich. It's very hard to buy anything early game, but once you make your initial investments you will quickly snowball into wealth. Combine that with smelting and selling all the weapons you find and you're sitting at a comfy 200-300k at any given time, it's sad that you can't do much with it!
Let us buy training for your skills (would also solve the problem of some skills being wayy too grindy), like a bard to level your charm, the local smith to level smithing, you get the idea. You could have different tiers of trainers with different pricing for higher skill maximums, a village smith won't be as good at his trade as a wealthy master smith residing in a capital.
Also let us order custom made high tier equipment like in WFAS for a big premium, this would instantly solve the problem of settlements not having top tier items for sale and it gives the player another goal to strive towards. You could lock specific equipment to a master craftsman of a faction - for example a Vlandian craftsman would let you order advanced arbalests and horse barding while a battanian one could make you a beautiful greatsword and longbow. You could have specific 'master' tier 7 faction sets for all of the kingdoms, you could also give these to all the rulers so their wealth and status sticks out! The game desperately needs a proper money sink and an actual reason to make money other than an extremely overpriced noble bow and horse barding. All of my suggested changes would also be extremely mod and future friendly so i hope you'll consider adding these
Thank you! If you have anything to add please leave a comment below
