Since the Round 1 matches got extension. new deadline for submitting predictions is Saturday 17/06 at 1:00 pm BST / 2:00 pm CEST / 8:00 am EST.
Of course if you make a prediction after a certain match has already been played we won't be taking that particular match prediction into account.
Also here is the new template that you can use for R1 predictions.
Apparently some Round 2 Matches are already being played tonight so since I'm only aware of that one I will post it, but I'm a bit clueless how on how it works ^^
Ok, with Round 1 over, it is clear that with "map wins" deciding the winner of matches there is no point for us to predict rounds won.
Because predicting rounds won could lead to absurd cases like we had in AE Pink vs Wannabaes match. Here we had Wannabaes winning the match after the Winterburg map, yet the overall Round score was on AE side:p
So instead of predicting rounds, you will be predicting the winners of the sets

Lets just use AE Pink vs Wannabaes as example. In this case perfect prediction (so both match result and set scores correctly predicted) would have been: AE Pink 3 - 3 Wannabaes
Looks better than what we had in R1 with rounds being predicted: AE Pink 14 - 12 Wannabaes
I realize that it's still unclear at the first glance why is Wannabaes the winner (they won on Winterburg which was played because the match was tied with 1 map won by each side and 1 map ending in a draw).
It is still not perfect for this Predictor game (and what we have been using in past), but with the match format we have, in my opinion it is better to predict set winners than rounds won by teams.
We could have chosen to have only maps won being predicted instead of sets, but that would have been at least in my opinion very easy to predict for almost every match:p

With the new format, predictor game indeed became hard to deal with yet again, thanks for taking the time to explain everything, we'll see how it goes in the next weeks I suppose !
