I believe they've also stated that not all settlement scenes will be included in early access. So some town maps might get repeated for multiple towns, and so on.Most of the features talked about over the years will be included in early access whether in its final or unpolished state. The only things we know won't be there from the start (as far as I know) is kingdom creation and weapon crafting.
This is true. Armagan talked about it during Gamescom 2019.I believe they've also stated that not all settlement scenes will be included in early access. So some town maps might get repeated for multiple towns, and so on.
Where have you got that from?We will basically get access to the Gamescom Demo
Yes, they haven't worked on the game at all since Gamescom and are planning to release the old demo into EA. My dad works at TW btw.Where have you got that from?
The gamescom demo seems like a outdated and limited build.
The early access version of the game contains a wealth of content that will keep players engaged for many hours. While the early access version is very much stable and playable, players can expect to run into some obscure bugs and other issues while playing that we intend to locate and fix before the full release.
The early access version will be reusing scenes for different towns, may lack some supporting features, may have a limited number of quests, voice-overs, etc. and may lack localizations for some languages.
Throughout the course of the early access period we intend to introduce the missing supporting features, such as, rebellions, kingdom creation and weapon crafting, while expanding and enhancing many of the existing features that are outlined below.”
There won't be a custom sword system, your own kingdom and all cities castles and villages are look same. They will be in full release.
By "Access to the Gamescom Demo" I mean there won't be kingdom creation, weapon crafting, towns and castles limited to 1 or 2 per faction, no naval combat or trading, perks half done, etc., but that wasn't a jab at them because they will gradually implement all of that in the upcoming months, so no worriesWhere have you got that from?

What do you mean by this?...towns and castles limited to 1 or 2 per faction...
I mean that in the SP demo shown in last Gamescom (or was it the 2018 one?) only one type or two types of scenes were available when you entered a town/castle/village from each faction because the devs were still finishing the full customized one-scene-per-enclave setup, and I think it will be the same during the first phase of the Early Access, though I hope I am mistaken and there is more diversityWhat do you mean by this?
+1What do you mean by this?
Scenes will be repeated. If Vlandia has, say, 10 towns, there will only be 1 or 2 scenes repeated over the rest of towns. What do you mean by this?
I guess we'll have to see.I mean that in the SP demo shown in last Gamescom (or was it the 2018 one?) only one type or two types of scenes were available when you entered a town/castle/village from each faction because the devs were still finishing the full customized one-scene-per-enclave setup, and I think it will be the same during the first phase of the Early Access, though I hope I am mistaken and there is more diversity
I pulled it from my ******* based on Armagan's comment about last Gamescom or 2018 one, but we will know more about it tomorrowAhh I see. Where is the "1-2" number from though?
Many thanks to everyone for their comments. The team here is working really hard to get the demo ready for Gamescom and we really appreciate your support.
Just to clarify a few things, the build we'll have in the booth will be different from the current development build in that, some features and pieces of content have been disabled. There are mainly two reasons for this. First, we want to focus our efforts on polishing the features that will be of most use in the demo. Disabling the rest allows us better manage our resources and time. Second, we do not want to reveal all the features and content in a single demo. We'd rather leave a good portion of the game as a surprise.
Here's a list of some of the things that are missing/disabled:
Sieges
Crafting
Character generation
Kingdom and town management
About 2/3 of town scenes. We selected 2 town scenes per culture and all towns will be showing those.
Most companions are disabled. There will be around 10 that are available.
About 2/3 of planned perks are not yet implemented.
The suggestion to release this version as a demo sounds interesting, but that doesn't fit any existing model and it would take a lot of time and effort to hammer out the details and make this work. I would rather put that effort into development and do a proper early access version.
