If you are refering to this interview with the first bolded sentence, then this is not relevant. MB firtst game was anywhere near finishing when they did early access. Bannerlord, however, is a different story as everyone can tell.

Yes i refferred to that. I think they are similar in the context that even so-called mostly-finished Bannerlord can take a lot of time to be finished, since it is a complex game. Game covers tons of topics unlike anygame which can be always improved. Again if they release the game in like less than one year after beta it should be fine, but i am not sure.

Btw hoster asked "will there be early access version of the game or a beta". Is there an iron rule in game industry when you release a beta then you will release ea?

Yeah, but we aren't gonna get our hands on it for at least another 6 months (in case of EA/beta), or a whole year (in case of the full release) (And yes, I'm being overly optimistic). And yeah, EA or beta with a bug report/ diagnostics feature that can send feedback to them would be a large help, so I agree with that 100%.

Agreed completely. His response to the question didn't seem very confident.

Why doubt it? It's not out of the question, the game looks playable and has base functionality. Basically what EA is made from.
