I think letting crytek UK in on the deal would be nice. Especially with Cryengine.

All they do is make crysis games which aren't even that amazing as the first one was way back when.

See, has there been any decent games released using CryEngine?

Because I am completely unsure about it's capabilities for gameplay. I mean, there is no doubting it's graphical and techy capabilities, but without the ability to apply decent gameplay all it can really make are tech demos.  :???:

Far Cry 3 was made on an engine that stemmed off of CryEngine 1 called Dunia Engine 2. Very similar, although it didn't go for the super ultra realistic HD look.

This is pretty much why I personally much rather have dice working on a battlefront game instead of crytek. Every game on cryengine seems to be a first person shooter or some variation, but with frostbyte at least they have used it for air/land/sea as well.

I am still not sure how star citizen will pull it off since the last game I played using the cryengine, mechwarrior online, they seem to be having issues with it especially with multiplayer since it wasn't really designed for multiplayer either until recently.

Honestly DICE is a good choice for Battlefront, EA or not. The Battlefield games are ridiculously similar to the Battlefront games in how the gameplay is structured.

I'd imagine they will. I doubt they would have gone ahead if the prototyping didn't make it a good option.

He talks about that very thing at 12:50 in this video.
