Star Wars has had some damn good games over the years. Battlefront, Galactic Battlegrounds, Jedi Knight series, Rogue Squadron...

I found KOTOR II rather fun, but to be honest have always felt the movies to be way overrated.

I don't know if this is that bad. I mean, we had assumed that Disney wouldn't make any proper Star Wars games. They'll probably be **** coming from EA, and bad Star Wars games may not be better than no Star Wars games, but it's not any worse. There's always the chance a good one might get through, too.
