The only console I'd get would be a 360, and the only game I'd play on it would be Ace Combat 6.

As of now, $300 for a 250-gig Xbox 360 slim. Currently on sale in Gamestop. AFAIK it comes out later in Europe (July I think?)

Anyway, it's actually more expensive than buying an Xbox 360 Elite because it doesn't come with Halo and Forza Motor Sport. But who the **** plays those?

I'm just getting myself some Fable II, III, RDR, Alpha Protocol and Ace Combat.

I've only seen 3 games worth talking about at E3 this year.

Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, Warhammer 40k Dark Millenium, and Star Wars the Old Republic.

Fable III looks good too, but I haven't seen anything about it from E3, though admittedly I'm not following it that devotedly.

Eh, imo that isn't a strong enough lineup to justify buying a 360. Especially as you can get AP for the PC. But then I didn't like the Fables at all.

Also, I guess they have the sound sorted out now? It's become more and more irritating to me that I have to play everything with subtitles on because of the bloody noise of the 360.
