E3 2019: I'm late to the party

It sure doesn't look like they're sparing any expense with it. CD Projekt has bloated to be one of the biggest companies in Poland, and I'm wondering if this isn't their last big thing before the whole thing caves in on itself.

Why do you think it'll cave in? If Cyberpunk matches half the expectations it'll still sell amazingly.

Aren't they operating on a huge deficit that's only held together by government subsidies? I don't think they'll totally collapse, but I wouldn't be surprised if they lay off 80% of their staff the second Cyberpunk ships and then just spend a few years focusing on making GoG a more popular storefront to build up cash reserves for another big project.

Back then Polish government released lots of funds on techpark-ish project, so a lot of the companies in Polish gaming industry jumped on that. The only sign I saw of CDPR struggling financially was from videos that went 'OMG, they grabbed cash from government, that means they are going down!', we'll see, of course, but imo it's too early for doomsday prophecies.

.

I haven't watched more than a couple minutes of this yet, myself, so it might be a ****ty vid, but I figured some people here might want to check it out.
