E3 2016: The thread

Yeah. I doubt they will change the game much, it will just be the regular old Skyrim running on the new consoles. The last console release on PS3 and 360 was pretty bad, this one will hopefully run at 60fps on maximum graphical settings.

Well, in that case, I can't see the PC players (like me) who already own the original Skyrim having much reason to buy the remastered edition. I mean, what sort of graphics overhaul can Bethesda do that modders haven't done already? Unless they make some improvements to the game engine itself, allowing them to do things which couldn't be done to the original Skyrim...

They likely won't release a 'remastered' version for PC, because if anything it is likely a fully patched all-DLCs release aimed at the new gen consoles, as Densetsu said. No graphical updates or no engine updates, so I'd wager. Especially given they've said more than a few times that they won't remaster their previous games; they'd rather put the work (money) into a new game instead.

Let's do this!

With that kind of a timeslot, you're really losing the EU audience. That show starts at 4:30 for me, AM. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Well there's only one thing Relic could be taking the stage to show off, and I hope it's some gameplay this time.

Anyone else mostly disappointed by Bethesda's presentation? Only Prey and Dishonored 2 really interested me. VR is kinda neat too, but I'm still not entirely convinced by it.

I only saw the end of it, but I thought the guy doing the presentation was underwhelming. I suppose some honesty, in whatever form, is nice to get in these shows, but it doesn't help the guy's marketing pitch when he appears to be honestly lacking enthusiasm.

Dawn of War 3 looks surprisingly good. Those jump assaults were awesome.

Any word on Space Hulk Deathwing?

Turns out they DID actually upgrade the visuals. I assume they just got all the best mods already available and tinkered with them.

Frankly, I wasn't overly impressed. I guess I'd have to see more than what they showed in that trailer to really appreciate any upgrades.

Also, a reminder, the PC Gaming Show (which Taleworlds is scheduled to be a part of) will start in 3 hours from now.
