Summary:
I started a new campaign on the 1.5.3 Beta branch. In this case, I am part of an army of the Northern Empire vs the Khuzaits. The army is led by a lord named "Chason". I have my brother, "Najun" in my party also and is the Quartermaster of it. Once the battle begins however, my brother somehow has overall command of the battle. Chason is not injured or anything and is in the battle. It is not a one off event either as in a different army led by Lucon vs the Western Empire, he still somehow takes command. I did not experience this in my 1.5.1 campaign in where I started with a similar setup.

I don't know if it is limited to just my brother or if it affects other clan members or companions.

How to Reproduce:
Have your brother with you in an army (maybe in Quartermaster role), which is supposed to be led by an AI lord (Commander). Enter the battle and you will see him leading it.

Hi, can you upload a save file before a battle starts? You can upload it at upload.taleworlds.com. Please paste the link to this thread in the description box on the upload website so I can identify it.

I have uploaded one. Should be just before a battle next to Jogurys Castle, in an army led by Lucon vs Khuzaits. The battle should then be commanded by Najun.

I think the whoever has the highest tactics will be the commander. I could be wrong.
In the save I sent, Lucon has a tactics skill of 160, Najun has 140. Many other lords in the army also have a skill of 140.
I was also a mercenary company at the time. It doesn't make sense in a feudal world that a lieutenant of a merc company would take command over the whole army.

I will add though, when a lord named "Nicasor" who had a tactics skill of 180, was in the army, he was the one who took command, which makes it more confusing.
