A friend got banned for 4 minutes while waiting in a queue for Skirmish. He was changing his badges.

That is intended. Ban for Spam happens automatically when server requests are too frequent. Threshold is actually fairly high so I am assuming they were changing their badges quite frequently.
In theory not too many changes, but if the threshold is supposedly high and intended, no problem then.
We have worked to improve our server stability and performance, lobby issue and fixed a lot of them in the past. If you still experience these issues in the latest version of the game please let us know. Marking this thread as resolved for now.
