e1.0.4 armor changes

There seem to be some balance issues with the new armor changes as of e1.0.4. Playing for ~20ish hours, I had picked up pretty good gear, but suddenly there are some inconsistencies.

Example of a good change:
  • Lamellar shoulders actually have some defense now.

Examples of bad changes:
  • Tournament reward Armored Bearskin has much less armor now, in fact the plain Bear Pelt has much more armor.

  • Rough Tied Bracers (which look like a bit of leather and fur with no gloves) suddenly have 30 armor which is more 5 than the Highland Warlord Bracers (which look like full scale armor) while being less than half the weight. On top of it, the Highland Warlord Bracers still are valued at about 5x the denars?? Same armor tier as well??
I'm just assuming this is a mistake or a bug when loading e1.0.4 on top of a e1.0.3 save, but for now I'll be rocking the flimsy looking bracers with massive armor lol. I found this in a few minutes of playing the new patch so I'd bet there are other numbers issues with the update.
 
Actually the armoured bearskin was literally hands down the best cloak in the game before this change. And it shouldn't have been as good as it was, so it having much less armour now is good.

It probably should have more armour than basic pelt though.

Yeah I'd agree, just feels like there should be some consistency and that some of the numbers aren't intentional.
 
I'm more than certain that numbers are placeholders for the most part given how wildly things changed in a path. I mean the best shield is a wicker shield that costs more than a city. Or two. Or 50 since they all cost 1 denari regardless.
