I'm officialy starting a new MOD, called Enteria, based on a written story. Because I'm totally inexpirienced, unless I don't want to release the first edition after several months, maybe even the next year, I search any help from skilled moders, which i can get. Because it is quite possible the MOD die even before the 0.1 is released, I will not give much information. It will include up - down this:
-Two factions, waging war against each other (Which MOD hasn't got this?)
-Storyline with two separations: Bring orther and peace to the land or make the chaos even greater
-Six races (I can get it down to a smaller number, but no less than four) - humans, dwarves, elves, orcs, trolls and ogres.
-Quests, not just pillage, kill and raid everything on the map (at least in the good side )
For anyone which is interested in helping me, I will give him more information by PM, if he ask me to.
Here is the link to the plain map for the MOD. To get it working, simply coppy/paste the files into the arhive to your MB Native module (don't forget to make backups).

P.S. sorry for the bad english.

Sounds great mod! But how do you make the dwarves - I think it's impossible :???:

I can help with scripting and scene editing. PM me if you are ready for giving me orders.

i have some experience with modding with another games (campaign for Starcraft, some maps for Warcraft, worked with a team, making mod for Oblivion (that MOD was abandoned in fact) . And of course, everyone has started from somewhere. If i proove unworthy for that projects, I will give the entire info here and if somebody likes it, I won't stop it from using it for creating his own MOD.
As for the dwarves - making masive characters with big beards won't be big trouble I think. As for the height, I think about asking the Fantasy MOD developing team. As far i have understanded, they are trying to make their cyclops around three meters high.

If you've never modded before, I would highly suggest joining an already existing mod team. It's way harder to make a mod than you think.

Oh, there's nothing easy at modding, I know it very, very, very well. But joining a other's project while I know so litle is a little strange. So I red the tutorials, downloaded the tools, made a map (the easiest thing about the entire modding in fact) and started a MOD on my own. I hope that step by step (small steps, of course), I will get good enough to build the MOD up from the zero. If it works - great! If not, I'm loosing nothing, and I'm winning experience.

Watch Highelfs's tutorials about modeling and it won't be hard at all. Look for the link yourself, I am lazy right now.

Done with the first big job onto the modding. I get a small error, but after fixing it, I will have the first fully customized army int the MOD (the orcs). So, before I have compiled, I will love to hear some comments are they well done. Still no new 3D models, though, which is quite sad. But I look forward to creating the ogres and trolls armies and then mooving forward to the White circle armies. So, for the orcs: They are brute force. Got very good infantry and good wolf riders. Poor archers and no anti cavalary. But that is easily fixed by the huge axes with very large reach. Also, their last tier cavalary has the longest pikes in the mod (ogre pike), so they may also be used as cavalary crusher while dismounted or delivering heavy couched lance damge to every enemy cavalary on the field while mounted. The last tier orcish infantry unit (orcish berserker) may be strange, but who expects a berserker with heavy armor. So give suggestions for the orcs. I will be happy to hear any criticism. But I will be hapier if anyone wants to help me with the 3D models. My tries are rather funny than good.
