Dynamic LOD?

I wonder if the game uses dynamic level od detail (or some other methods to ease the burden on graphic card), because when there are many characters on the screen at once, the framerate drops considerably.
 
my framerate only drops considerably when were alll splashing around in water and someone bleeds all in my face! yeahugrh.

Disable particle systems in the video options to fix that.

Yeah I know, but I like the blood its only a small problem :smile:
 
I think performance varies greatly across different systems. I get insane performance most of the time, but a screen full of blood slows me down. There needs to be an option to make the particle effects less dense, as with most games.

A good LOD system would make more characters possible in a battle, something certainly to be desired.
 
I think there is a dynamic LOD system on the world map, though I can't notice any difference, so if there is it's a good one. I think this because when I zoom to about half-way out I get the highest frame rate I can on the world map.
