Depends. If they seem to be willfully dumb, then I find it's best to leave them to their own devices (unless it warrants clicking on the 'Report' button, of course). Otherwise, I tend to correct them at least once, without being overbearing about it.

After reading a few remarks, perhaps it is smart to sit and think of implications.
Correct if their dumbassness is correctable, but provided they have no hope of redemption, leave them to squall in their dumbass filth.
