IMHO you have some of the best weapons and armor in the game. I get the hell kicked out of me most of the time because I'm admiring the weapons. Like the lances. Amazing texture and incredibly pointy.
One question. Highlanders and brigands seem to be gone in this new version. Are they coming back? I *****ed about too many highlanders with the bandits but they were a nice addition to them, maybe if you had bands with a radius of 1/4th highlanders in the bandits force it would greatly help to balance things.
I also noticed that Khergit bands are very small and impossible to catch without cheating.
Nice touch about the scorchers in the castles. Would be nice to bump into them on the field
 
I seem to have a problem with the outlaw bands : they disapeared of the game  :shock:

I must fix their spawn point.
 
Wow, that's some serious eyecandy there Luigi, nice job. :grin: I've got a couple of thoughts on it: Firstly, I got a ctd asking for a quest in Jelkalla, it might be the dialogue bug, but I thought I should mention it anyway. Second, It'd be cool if you could shiny up the plate armour, the vanilla version always seemed a bit dull to me. And thirdly, I have a bit of a request (heh, or a re-crest :grin: ), could you make a crest in the form of a gold demi-lion naissant holding a silver arrow? I've posted a picture of the arms:

o.t.p.s: Can anyone recommend a good free prog for reskinning items, I want to add a shield and surcoat as well.

A few of the textures seem to have vanished from the new version, the knight barbutte, the helmets with the dragon crest, the clamshell sword and the strong war axe. Is anyone else having this problem or did I do something wrong?

DO you mean that you don't see them anymore at the merchants o r you mean the meshes are 'white' ?
 
for the momment I can't play with the animation because of my lack of experience and good programs to do it. I don't have any good smd exporter for gmax, for example. I can only create the meshe but I need someone to animate it.

The meshes are white, I tried reinstalling, but no dice.

Nobody else seems to have this problem, at least no-one told it.
That means the textures are not applied to the meshes, I don't know why.
Do you know how works the brf viewer ?
Is yes, open d&mitems.brf located in the ressource folder and look for those meshes. Apply to them the good texture (maybe weapons1 or costumes5- some helms use weapons1 also) save over the brf than open the unofficial edito, look for those items and change the meshes they have attached for the ones you corrected in the brf viewer, even if they have the same name,just choose them again.
If it doesn't work.... :shock:

Hmm, I tried that and looking at it, it may just be a very light texture, but the contrast on the helms looks odd to me. Is this how it should be?

Yes !
In the viewer it always look odd and some details disappear.
But that is ok.
Now save and put it into  the game with unofficial editor (open the d&m folder in the editor)
go to the item table
choose the helm/weapons you want to modiffy
select the meshe table then the name of the meshe that is there and press the ''-'' buton.
then the ''+'' button and select in the list (probably near the end) the name of the helm.
Even if its the same name as the fisrt, do it anyway

then save and it is supposed to be ok in the game.


starnge bug....how can this happens ?

anyway, tell about any other bug you find.

Next version will be shipped soon when I'll have finished what Yoshiboy wants me to do.
It should be more balanced and have some new items.
