I'm having a problem with the "Paladin" class. Whenever I have them in my party, they fight for me... but whenever I fight a Swadian party, they fight for them, so I knocked him unconcious and took them as prisoner, they're on my prisoner list but fight for me anyway? :S

But other than that, great armour and swords! I decided to have a little fun and take your black 2 hander mesh and turn it into a custom 1 handed sword for my black knight character. :grin: I'm just sad at the lack of black gloves. :sad: The helmets are very good though. The new units are great and I love fighting the highlanders. :razz:

The paladin issue is probably because I made them "Hero" in the editor and they are of the swadian type...I'll correct that in the next version.

Just noticed that watchmen can upgrade to merc. archers and merc. soldiers. Kind of redundant to upgrade a watchman to merc. soldier since they both are at the same level of the upgrade tree.
Also, crested helms block the view of ranged weapons when zooming. For instance I can'r shoot straight my x bow because the helmet with the crow keeps getting in the way.
But it is a good mod and has the potential to become one of the best in this game. Nice work luigi. :wink:

Of course, crested helms are more esthetic than practical.
Maybe one day it will be possible to block the ability to use a bow with this kind of equipment, because of logic principle. Myself I prefer to play with the barbute and leave the crested helms to the full plated knights.
About watchman I will work on an other way to upgrade them, crossbowmen maybe, with shields and 1 handed weapons too  ? Or fighters with trowing weapons ? What do you think ?

Both options are ok to me. Do Zendar troops get mounted units? Am asking this because everyone is catching up with me, mainly dark hunters. Don't know about other people but me troops are catching a nasty habit of losing their lunch, both ways, every time we see a bunch of those dark devils which as numerous as bandits. Haven't been beaten so often in almost a year.
BTW can you lower the number of highlanders with bandits? or is there a way to recruit them?
Ah something else, mercenary marksmen upgrade to caravan guards and merc. soldiers !  :shock: I'd call that downgrading.

try the new version, you'll see less treats.

townsman uprgrade to merce soldier or watchman
watchman to archers or crossbowman and to masters of each
merc soldier to pikemen or swordsman
swordsman (foot) and pikemen can be upgraded both to masters of each type of weapons or
swordsman to  cavalry swordsman
pikemen to mercs knight

I've also noticed that some weapons stats should be tweaked. For instance the merc. bastard axe has the same damage stats as the merc. bastard sword but is appreciatevily slower. shouldn't it have more damage points to compensate for its lack of speed? Also merc. lances and king's lances share the same stats and only the name varies.

Yep  you're right. This mod is still in construction, I made this first version alone and I need to do a lot of things again.
If you want to help me with this you're welcome. Anyway, your comment help a lot. You are my first beta tester man  :grin:

I have to rework all axes and sword stats. I work a lot on the meshes but I just begin to work on the "internal organization" of the mod. For now I'm trying to make Python works (it doesn't of course...) to try some different ways of modding.
I want to incluede, if not all the features you can read on the first page, some new villages and small keeps. I would love to fight around a castle or in a little village !

When I'll have time I'll work on some crested helms with demons and sucubus for the dark knights.

No, seriously I'll have a lot of idea for helms.
The only thing I miss is the ability to animate armors with the programs I have. I can do the meshes but I need someone to animate them.
