The Pope 说:I like the firearms. They really change the gameplay, without them the mod would be little more than cosmetics. BTW the pistol was invented in the early 16th century so it does fit. 1530something as far as I know, its close enough.

But I must admit that this mod doesn't take part in any 'real' historical period. I didn't really work on the background story or the historical setting. AT first I was 'inspired' by the late Middle age and the transition to the Renaissance. But it became something that look more like a mix of eras and esthetics. Also, my love for the Empire army in the Warhammer game has contributed a lot.
About pistols and muskets : my next move will probably be to improve teir look and add more of them to the game while trying to stay near the xvi era's look.
