Duel Server Rules

I'm quite certain of which person that is, he has quite a few nicknames which he uses when being lame. Since he is active in the forum and has a brain, he will hopefully stumble over your post and stop laming. :roll:
 
It is a beta, not a tournament. Glitching like that really just highlights an issue. Sure, it's a bit annoying, but isn't than an incentive to work out exactly what the problem is and have it properly reported?
 
All one needs to do is find a glitch, take a screenshot(or record a short video) then post in the forums. You do not really need to get a massive amount of kills to prove a glitch works.
 
Yeah you can document it once and vóila. Your beta responsibilities are done. If you keep doing it over and over then you're just asking for a ban.
 
Another thing that I feel about duels is there should be no or very very little amounts of kicking. When I duel I do it to practice my manual block with a one handed weapon, not to just dodge kicks.
 
Has anyone played on the duelling servers for Savage? I think it was a mod. Basically you had to challenge another player, who had to accept.
When you started a duel your health/ammo/whatever reset and there was a stock kit for both teams (since there were only two). Only players participating in a duel could damage each other, which meant no one else could interfere.

If something similar could be developed for Warband it would sounds like it would take a lot of problems out of duelling.
 
Indeed, many of us have already asked for such a feature or mode to be added. Due to the above reasoning/logic. ^^

You would enter the server like in Deathmatch. Available would be the nations and items that are specified by the host (all nations with all weapons should be possible).
Everyone runs around like in a DM and the server can enable no_duel_damage to allow people that aren't dueling to damage other people that are not dueling.
If you aim your mouse over an enemy, you should see his name. You can then either press a button or use a gesture to request a duel. The other person would see your

The person that you are dueling should be made visible, so you know who you are dueling. You cannot damage anyone outside of the duel and you cannot collide with people that aren't dueling you. This also works the other way around, people that are not dueling won't be colliding with dueling people.

Just one question?!

In your duel rules you have stated no armor (or the one you get for free) ... Why do i see a lot of people using the best armor they can buy? So i can buy it too and wont get kicked/banned ?
 
I think most servers ignore the armor rules. Since there is a rule that you can pick and choose who you fight with it shouldn't be an issue.
 
Some people wants to be slow in a heavy armor. They can take 2-3 more hits and love spending their money.
I usually go with the starter outfit, some cases add a helmet. But after 15 min I'm richer then a troll and I'll buy the best of the best, just to loose my gold :wink:

Thing is, there are so many rules and so many non-talents. so we skip that rule in our server and let the kids play as they will. As long as no one uses ranged weapons or charges people by Whorse.. We could warn people all day long if they wore armor and kick people too. But it wears us down..
 
Jupp, the armour rule doesn't apply on our server (Einherjar_Duel_Server). Almost the same with any equipment. Chose whatever melee weapon you like and what shield you like and the just start duelling. I personally like to be tanked up with the heaviest armour because it lets you fight for an even longer time, thus increasing the experience. And for those who think it's cheating for me to fight with the tank armour just doesn't fight me. No greeting, no fighting. Simple as that :grin:
 
einenjar duel server is passwored.  how i can get it? (i promise to make a blood promise if needed).  :mrgreen:
the only server i play.
