Bruce Almighty
Sergeant at Arms

Hello dear friends and welcome to my aar. As far as I've seen, no one has made an aar based on Cozur's great mod a Clash of Kings, which gives us an opportunity to live our own lives in Martin's world. This is a great mod which I enjoyed a lot and therefore am making an aar based on it.
In the main mod topic, I have made a poll of which character I should choose. There was a competition between Aegon Targaryen, whom you all know, Tomas Lannister the bastard and Dain of the Bear Island, a peasant. And since Dain had the most votes, this will be his story which I hope you will enjoy.
In addition to make this aar more interesting and realistic, I have made a several house rules:
-No cheating (I'm only doing it story-wise and even then it'll be a minimal use)
-No reloading
-No save-spamming (not like I know how to do it)
Also, roleplaying-wise, I've made a couple of rules and decisions for it as well:
-Story will end after conquest of Westeros is over (every town, every castle, every village must be in my kingdom)
-Dain will not be only POV character
-I will implement the White Walkers (or the Others as in books) and explain their being as I see fit based on my own theory(since we don't know much about them)
Chapters:
Paly ran fastest he could, not stopping despite the cold wind that blowed against him and snow getting into his eyes. Everything around him was covered by snow which never melted and this was how harsh were lands beyond the Wall. Paly's black fur cloak was not enough to warm him but he didn't cared for cold, not now. He looked back to see if it's still following him. There was no sign, but Paly felt it is behind him, slowly catching up to him.
He was a brother of the Night's Watch for thirty years now. He was once a member of house Rosby, a minor lord, but after being accused for murder, he was sent to the Wall to be a brother of the Night's Watch.
And this time after thirty years, he was sent to the Lands beyond the Wall for the first time, which he never understood. He was breathing heavily as he was slowing down, tired of running a miles on this blizzard. His sword was not in sheath and even if it was, it wouldn't help against it. He was the only one that survived of all twenty rangers, although he saw Benjen Stark slipping away in the last moment when they surrounded them.
This was something even wildlings were afraid of, and when the wildlings are afraid of something, it can mean only a bad thing. When Paly made his way in the pine forest, he saw a shelter on the tree. He climbed trees since his young ages, so this wasn't a big deal for Paly. He found a grip on the thick branch while leaning on the trunk.
His breathing was shaky, as he was covered in fear. Hoping for a salvation, he started praying to the Seven. But it wasn't helping. Fear was owerwhelming as the sky was darkening and night is coming close. But Wall was close, he could see it from the tree.
He sweated, even though it was bitterly cold and blizzard storming. Knowing it won't help if he was to stay on the tree, Paly jumped and landed on his feet. He turned around to run towards the wall, but then, in a distance he saw a pair of blue glowing eyes and a dark figure. He couldn't move, nor scream. Fear completely took him. Figure slowly walked towards him, not making any sound. Blizzard stopped. Crows flew past Paly, severals scratching his face, all flying away from the figure.
Again, Paly tried to pray to the Seven, but there was no sound, he could not speak. He knew what were they. They have returned, or have they always been here. And it meant only one thing. Winter is coming.
Author's note:
Well, I hope you like the introduction. I tried to describe lands beyond the wall best I could, but it wasn't my field, so sorry if I did it bad way. Anyway, I hope you like it and you can expect first chapter tommorow.
Cheers
