Downloading a mod into the game?

i apologize if im posting in the wrong spot, but im new to the forum, and im unfamiliar with mods, im not exactly computer savvy lol
so is there anyone that can maybe walk me through mod downloads or something?

This is pretty much how to install a mod:
1. Download mod. If it is a rar file, you will need 7-zip, or a similar program.

2. Extract the mod into your modules folder. For example, "C:\Mount&Blade\Modules\TheModuleYouWantToPlay". Once downloaded, you should see all of the various files and folders belonging to the mod in this directory.

3. Run the Mount & Blade program. This should pop-up a screen with an option at the top labeled "Current Module". If you installed everything correctly, the module you just downloaded should be on the list.

Note that Steam versions of M&B don't install this way. If you have Steam, you will have to wait for someone else to help you.

I would imagine for steam you would extract it to the file source mods under steamapps and it would appear in the list of games just like HL2 mods.
