i was wondering if it would be possable to make a 'downloads' section on the main menu of the communities home page. if all the downloads that the gamers submit where stored in one area than you wouldnt get a bunch of people asking where to find editors and junk like that....just a suggestion that, to me makes since.

where did that come from?? never seen that befor...and where is the link from this site to that site?
that is exactly what i was talking about...though a link to it should be on M&B's home page....

hehe, in that, I agree with you ^^
It's mostly been around by hearsay, I don't think there's ever been an announcement about the repository. It just kinda appeared

well....thats not right... i play stronghold...(a castle/war simulater)...and there is a web site for the game called

http://www.stronghold-knights.com/

.....good layout (website wise.) i dont know but i think some ideas from this website could be used to inhance mount & blades website. mainly the downloads area is what needs to be changed. maby have a link to that database and also there should be a quick and easy explanation on how to get your new mods to work on the game....i had a hell of a time trying to find all the places to switch.

Well, the repository didn't exactly appear out of nowhere. I saw a lot of people having trouble finding a good place to host or download files (since many have trouble with / can't use Rapidshare), so I posted asking if people were interested in such a site. That post ended up as the current "M&B Mod Hosting Sites" sticky in the Mod Discussion forum. Since it's in a sticky, it should be pretty noticeable.

My site's not a complete collection of mods though, some people have their mods hosted elsewhere. The best place to find released mods would be the "Mount & Blade Mod/Tools Updates Thread" sticky in the Mod Discussion forum, but it hasn't been updated like it should lately. Ah well.

i know all of that...i just figured it would be nice to have a direct link to the page from M&B's home page. it would make everything alot easyer.
