"How do I remove Beda?"  Someone please answer this.  But on a sidenote i dont think its svens men not attacking that makes the old captain "broken" but that beda doesnt join your party immediately.  i didnt have room for him because i just had lost dun taruo.

If you are using cheat menu, you need to wait until messenger come you. This should reset mission. However, you need to remove Beda of your party (use cheat). However, the best is load an old savegame before messenger with Beda's invitation come.

Hello! I am having problems with this mission. I can't progress with the ship captain even if I restart mission from cheat menu. I can find Beda and beat Sven's men but after this I cannot progress with mission. Any assistance is welcome. I have tried to speak with Captain with or without Beda.

No I am still using 1.02. Beda is not in my party currently but I have also tried with Beda (tried with different save).

Post your savegame(s) here using a sharing service like DROPBOX or GOOGLEDRIVE in case you cant solve that.

Hi guys I need help. This bug was supposen to be fixed but for me it still appears. I started the viking conquest campaign for the first time a few days ago. I am on the west saxe side and I took the monk to my party. There was no attack in the grove, and now when I approach the old Captain he is busy prepairing the fleet. I tried that option in cheat menu and I recieve the message to come to the grove but there the Monk only says that he is ready to come back to me(even though he is still in my party, and when I choose to say that I can take him again it takes one slot in my party but my troop list doesnt change ). Please help.

Hi guys I need help.

1) create a new thread in the support section (this one)

2) post your rgl_log.txt (you can find it on your game folder)

3) Steam, GOG, TW website (where you bought the game from)? Windows, Linux or Mac?

4) Any tweaks, cheats, etc you are using?

5) Post a link to download your savegame (Dropbox, GoogleDrive, etc)

make sure you are playing the latest versions of the game and DLC, not some old version that still has the bug.
