Bite Me

Knight at Arms
Pretty cool title, you can get it fairly cheap now its in beta.

Description: Top down tactical close quarters breaching simulator game thingy. Similar (but much more streamlined and better) to Jagged Alliance sort of stuff. But better. It has a fairly minimalist approach to graphics, but still looks pretty nice and is still very much in development. Levels are very difficult, and tend to play out differently depending on what actions you take. Covering all corners and never leaving blank spots is very difficult, as you always have very limited manpower (one of the unrealistic features which give more enjoyable gameplay). Expect to have a lot of brutal, unforeseen and thoroughly awesome deaths.

Looks interesting. Seems less complicated and much more shooterish than the original swat games, but who knows what he might add in the future.

Yeah, I'll be mildly disappointed if we can't outfit our guys by the time the game is done but, oh well, he's not claiming it'll be balls-to-wall-realistic nor charging all that much for the game.

It will be amazing with a level editor and a few other features. Pretty barebones right now with it being an alpha and all.

This heavily reminds me of a series of Flash games called Endless War, they're pretty old not but they had some neat features.

Wonder if the Dev{s} have ever seen them.

For those curious.

Edit; ha, replaying these they are a bit ****. Oh well, Flash games. Still, some features could carry over due to similar game play.
