You forget that Obama's black. A drop of that in his blood is enough to make him the devil in most republican's eyes; especially a homophobic republican. I'm from the most conservative place in the union and it's true, they really don't like black politicians. They'll talk like they don't care, but catch them when they're comfortable, they're as racist as they come.
