Don’t add a degradation system.

It’s literally just busy work and adds no real value to the gameplay. Easily the worst feature in other games. Breath of the Wild comes to mind.

Would honestly rather resources went to making some of the other systems more expanded (trade, alliances, order companions to clear bandits like a party management system where you can send them to do specific tasks).

All seem more important than some contrived busywork degradation system.

degradation sucks, but so does crafting. Not every game needs crafting. No idea why its in this game.

I think it only wouldn't work because it would be hard to apply it to the AI in a fair way. I seems it would eat a lot of game brain resources to determine which lord equipment should be worn out in auto calc NPC battles. I would like weapons sued to block getting broken though just because I absolutely hate that little dork units can block big strong attacks with their week cheap one handed weapons..... either the weapon or their arm should be wrecked after that.

But it wasn't busy work in BOTW because you constantly got replacement weapons!

I agree, it adds no depth to the game, it is just another useless and boring grind, if it would be added and by god, this game is already full of boring, uninspired grind. There are also people who suggest that horses should need to be fed and maintained. Just no, it adds nothing to the game in terms of fun or engagement just for the sake of ''muh realism''

Tell that to my constantly full inventory! The inventory system is easily the top 3 worst feature of BotW. It's something I'm eager to see improved on in the sequel.

Fully agree!
