Doing commissioned works! (digital paintings & 3D-models)

Oh come on, just cause I'm broke doesn't mean I'm going to cheat people, dang. It's not like I don't have food and a place to live. (still with parent) This is the stuff I love doing anyways. (painting etc.) I just need to save up some money to help my parents pay for college. (They aren't the wealthiest people in the world, and if they had to pay it all, they'd probably need to make some sacrifices I don't want them to.)

Don't even know how I could possibly go about making people type in a larger number than we agreed on, on their own keyboard in their own house, a world apart from where I am. 

Well you could make a new version of fantasy mod, that would surely help

Besides, I've lost my touch in all things non-modelling. It'd take ages to get it up and running again.

Instead, I'm offering help to work-in-progress mods that are in dire need of a modeller, through really cheap 3D-models. Not sure how far I'll get with doing models, but hey, if someone really needs some extra models for his mod, the opportunity is there.

As a PayPal using freelance illustrator myself, I disagree. There are ways to bend the system (which I will of course not disclose) and I've encountered a few attempts on me.

Though I'm not impugning HE's credibility here. There are certain procedures that can be taken to ensure that both parties are well protected in their transactions, google around a bit to find out more.

P.S. UnholyNighmare: It's price, not prize. And it generally isn't proper to cast doubt on someone's integrity without any base to the claim.

You could put some of your models on TurboSquid ... I think that you will have no trouble finding customers if the models are going to be cheap (5-10$)

I have some models up there, but then I discovered I can't receive payment since I'm not in America. I tried to get it fixed, filling in complex forms and stuff, worked on it for days to get it legally okay, finally sent the entire package of documents and they just sent it back saying it wasn't complete. (not even saying what was missing)  Also, they take like half your earned money or something crazy like that.

Nah, no Turbosquid for me, thank you.

Well there's about two months left before colelge; so definately 2 months more. After that I (hopefully) start college, where I'll be doing exactly the same, only unpaid. But yeah, I can't imagine having enough time to keep doing commissions during college. So 2 months more.
