Does time matters?

Hello to all in my first topic on this forum. I am new to game and really excited about it. But i have question (as newbie) - does time matters in singleplayer? I mean - is there a difference if i make my own kingdom on day 250 or 2500? Will i miss something, if i will play really slow? Is there a dead end i should be afraid of and hurry because of it?  Thank you for answers and opinions.

I dont think there is a dead and, anyway, if you start a kingdom in 2500, some factions might be eliminated, and some will be bigger. It's your choice.

The only thing is, that you start to age at some point around 1000 days I guess, which means that if you are knocked unconscious or captured by another lord you might lose a stat point like strength permanently.

So either start your kingdom rather soon, "tweak" the aging process out of the game (you can find on the forums how to do this), never get defeated afterwards or simply live with the stat decreases. It's your choice.

Usually later in game nords get really strong, so it's kind of pain in the arse to deal with them later on, but other than that I think it's better to slowly advance through game(establishing good economy, troops and lvling yourself and your companions). You could join a faction that is often in war with nords as vassal to keep them down.

No, Swadia usually conquers the world...

P.S - Look at his faction...

In 90% of my games swadia gets wiped. And it's even worse if he is nord vassal , because he will help them become even bigger threat later in game when he starts his own kingdom
