Does M&B support Win98SE? Just to make sure before I buy

I've been playing and loving the demo version on my Win98SE computer and had no in-game problems (only that the computer is very unstable and prone to crashing after I quit, but that I can cope with). However, I'm not rolling in money and don't want to buy something which may not work in later versions. I read in another topic that WinME has problems and is not recommended. Is Win98SE supported, and will it continue to be?

To be truthful ... the only (PC) OS that I know of, that isn't supported is the 64-bit version and even that may change within the month.

I'm not positive whether Win98se is or isn't supported. I'll ask and find out. If anyone knows or runs Win98se ... could they post and let Suchoop know?

Yeah, it's me who's still using the best of widowses so far: 98se

The only issue i got with this game is: after quitting M&B, you wont be able to run any D3D application (including M&B: one boot - play once)
Otherwise works like a charm, never experienced most bugs mentioned in bug report section.

However, I can't tell if the next version will run with it.
