Does it have a relative populated MP?

I'm thinking of buying it for PS4, but I'm REALLY low on money, so buying it just for the SP is not a good idea, at least for me. So, does it have a playable MP community? In North or/and South America? PS4? Thanks.

Edit: Forgot to mention: Is it worth buying it? Or it's better to wait for Bannerlord?

I don't play the console version, so I can't speak for how active the multiplayer is. I can say that Bannerlord is a long way away for PC, and a console version of Bannerlord would likely be several years after that. So no, don't wait for Bannerlord.

I can't speak for PS, but on Xbox there's usually a siege server or battle server with like 20-60 people on at any given time with a bunch of side deathmatch, TDM, duel etc servers that might have like 10 or so people on at any given point in the day. Dies down a bit late night/early morning. I'd say it's worth it

Right. And about the gameplay, with a controller, how worse/better it is compared to a mouse and keyboard? And the skill base of the players in console, how it is compared to the PC?

I'd suggest get the PC version since it's the cheapest, has more player base, and get access to mods and expansion packs. The combat is fine with the controller but navigating the UI using it? Nope.
Edit: the skill base is comparatively low on console.

I mean the controller definitely isn't as good but it still does the job. My biggest problem is sensitivity because if I'm an archer lower sensitivity helps while aiming but makes melee hard. Most skill will transfer from PC. The player base is pretty varied, not as many good players as PC but that's just because they haven't had enough time to learn everything since it's still fairly new to console players, they'res still a decent amount of good players

Edit: and yeah, navigating menus and UI is horrible with controller

My PS4 Community has helped to manage and to organize 3 64 player matches so far in the last 2 weeks but its hard work as the PS4 Community can be quite Hostile and relatively unresponsive but its possible. The PS4 averages about 30 players a day and can get to and over 64 players at peak times but that is rare to happen on its own that is why i created the Mount & Blade Multiplayer Community HUB page to keep active players together. In short you will pretty much always find someone playing and lately its been more populated than usual but for how long that will last i do not know but what i do know is that this game is worth its money.

No it's a small community but the manual block pvp feels extremely rewarding and 1v1 took so much focus I wasn't concerned about the battle being small was too concentrated to notice.  1v1 was common it wasn't like planetside where I am forming a fighting line.  Warband pvp was extremely rewarding none the less, i was struggling to compete with the vets but it made a kill that much more rewarding.  There is a huge amount of skill involved in manual block pvp which prolly is why it's not very populated.  Noobs have no aim assist.

Also the frame rate is very much impressive for an Indy some big games don't even run this smooth and I've never had it crash, it gets a black screen rarely but your still able to manual save thru that before rebooting.  I've only had combat bug once wer cav wouldn't respond to command this is like 200 hours of play

Its not populated because we don't have anything to do besides clan battles which never happen correctly due to randoms joining and teamkilling.
