Does anyone know how to change starting equipment?

I'm trying to put together a small little mod, but I would really like to change the starting equipment and was wondering if anyone knows how I'd go about doing this? Also, what number do I have to change in the item_kinds to make an item appear more/less at shops? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. To change what you start with at the beginning would I recommend taking a look at the game_menus. But use the ModuleSystem for this. Don't even try textediting it.
2. I think the value is named aboundance or somethiing simular, either get the Item Editor or the Module system, depending on how serious your mod is and what version you mod for.

You can use Morgh tool to put equipment into player (trp_player) inventory. You will start with that inventory every game.
