Does a mod like this exist? Make Cattle FOLLOW you (For v1.011)

Hey, i was wondering if theres a mod which is compatable for v1.011 which makes cattle follow you like the lords do when you ask them to follow you and they actually obey.

That 11 tells the cattle to run from you. Instead, we change it to 4 - which tells them to follow you, like the caravans do.

No more shall cattle herding waste our time. Hurrah!

Hey, chill. All I did was show the guy what he was looking for. You being lazy is a completely different thing. Also, new people don't automatically know their way through the forums like we do, so show some tolerance.

It was sarcasm, sorry I didn't include the appropriate smileys that made you misconstrue my posts intentions. In fact it was more of a compliment to you then a put down.

I don't want to show tolerance because I hate everyone.

I have been to a farm and cattle will follow you if you have something tastier then grass.
 
Well its not like you herd cattle with your whole freaking army anyway.  The cattle following simply means you did the smart thing and told 5 of your guys to herd them.  I've always found that really dumb in native.

The orange is the imediate difference i saw in the code as for the mno_cattle thing its fine just that particular difference in the code, does the orange make a difference?

lol...... still errors :sad: gives me an RGL error saying, error reading file /Modules/Native/menus.txt it freezes at startup on loading settings... then an RGL error, ill try changing the code back and doing it again ill let you guys all know if it works :grin:

Hi Ignorak! :grin:

If you are using the official module system just open module_troops.py and find the following:

      ("cattle_drive_away",[],"Drive the cattle onward.",
      [
        (party_set_slot, "$g_encountered_party", slot_cattle_driven_by_player, 1),
        (party_set_ai_behavior, "$g_encountered_party", ai_bhvr_driven_by_player),

Change the ai_bhvr_driven_by_player to  ai_bhvr_escort_party and they will follow you. DONT change it to ai_bhvr_travel_to_party as this can cause unforseen errors (cows disappearing from the map, menus crashing, etc)

I need help with cattle too though: Cattle Speed

I've changed the cattle in module_troops.py from:

["cattle","Cattle","Cattle",0,no_scene,reserved,fac_neutral, [], def_attrib|level(1),wp(60),0,mercenary_face_1, mercenary_face_2],

To

  ["cattle","Cattle","Cattle",tf_mounted,no_scene,reserved,fac_neutral, [], def_attrib|level(1),wp(60),knows_pathfinding_10|knows_riding_10,mercenary_face_1, mercenary_face_2],

But it hasnt sped them up at all :sad: What else can I do to fix this?
